About Evergreen

The Company was originally incorporated on December 30, 1939.  The Company was first known as Summit Fidelity and Surety Company.  In 1993, the Company changed its name to Evergreen National Indemnity Company.  On February 19, 2004, the Company purchased from CSC all outstanding shares of Continental Heritage Insurance Company and Continental Heritage Insurance Company became a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company.

Evergreen is admitted in 47 states.  Evergreen focuses on specialty surety programs.  We primarily write contract surety bonds, landfill closure and post closure bonds, and collection bonds.  Evergreen was given a rating of A- (Excellent) by A.M. Best & Company.  Evergreen’s U.S. Treasury Department T-Listing is $2,671,000 as of July 1, 2010.
